Pour Vos Beaux Yeux
Charles Mosa, vintage optician whose first store was a hit in Nice opened a new space in Paris, Passage du Grand Cerf, in the 2nd district. "Pour vos beaux yeux" features designer frames from 1900 to 1980.
Gathered by the owner, the frames are all New Old Stock (NOS), in the jargon vintage, which means they came from stockpiles and have never been worn before. However, they are meticulously checked and potentially restored. Even when they were never laid, acetate frames lose their elasticity, and have need of a little facelift.
You'll find the Persol Steve McQueen in Bullitt or Ray Ban Wayfarer (the original made in the USA, back when they were still made with Bausch & Lomb lenses) to give you a style of Audrey Hepburn.
